PQ Sense

Investigate. PQ-Sense is a subscription-based state-of-the-art metering service that continuously monitors the input power to your facility. It provides vital "quality-of-supply" information, identifies critical power events and reveals the relationship between voltage sags and system downtime.

Communicate.The system includes monitoring technology that is easy-to-install and practically maintenance-free. The collected data is relayed back to our servers via Modem/Ethernet connections built right into the monitors. Once the data is collected, it is analyzed and sent to our subscribers in the form of detailed reports via email. Critical events are sent in the form of pager, cell phone and email notifications. PQ-Sense Power Quality reports will enable you to view detailed event data as it happens.

Mitigate. PQ-Sense will provide you with the knowledge to implement appropriate measures that will get your operations back on track as fast as possible. In addition to the reports, PQ Logic can also provide one-on-one discussion of solutions for maximizing reliability and minimizing unscheduled downtime.

Immediate Notification. Immediately following a voltage event, you will be notified via email. The message will contain detailed and specific information about the event that just occurred. This information includes:

Event Start Time & duration
Event IEEE Classification
System Frequency
Nominal/Min/Max RMS Data
Waveforms RMS Voltage Charts

Corroborate Data. If other monitors in the area detect the same event, a rich text email will be sent to all users on the notification list approximately 1 hour after the event. This report provides detailed information on the severity of the event as seen by other sensors in your area. A corroborated report confirms the event is grid-based.
